Insane for plantain, Lovely bread!

I’m quite new with plantains but I already love them! My family brought me some plantains because they didn’t know what to do with them! I hate to throw food away so I decided to do some research on the internet to see what is possible to do with this funny banana. I already fried them before but this time I wanted to do something else. I found this delicious plantain bread recipe everywhere on the internet and wanted to give it a try. And I can tell you, It is sooo good! I can’t wait to bake this again!!

Ingredients:
– 1 big ripe plantain
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon oil ( for the oven dish )

That’s how easy it is 😉 Only 2 ingredients to make a delicious bread, and it’s so easy!

You can combine plantain bread with a lot of products. You don’t need white sandwiches anymore, because here is the plantain bread! You can make sandwiches with hummus or guacamole or top it with whatever you like!

What to do:
– Preheat the oven to 200c
– Peel and cut the plantain in small pieces and put it in a blender with the eggs.
– Make a smooth dough
– Put some oil in an oven dish so it does not stick
– Put the dough in the oven dish and put it in the oven for 15 minutes. ( until slightly brown )

– Take the plantain bread out of the oven and cool for 5 minutes before you remove the bread.

– Put it on a plate, and make a delicious sandwich or top it with some toppings you like!

I love to eat it with a nut butter and extra banana! I decided to fried some extra plantain and top this on the plantain bread, but it’s also delicious to top it with normal banana slices or another type of fruit. I finished the bread with some tahin and bee pollen on the top. Yummie yummie 😀

Fried banana breakfast

Fried suriname bake banana. Do you like bananas, but want to try something else? Try the suriname bake banana!

Ingredients:
– 1 Ripe suriname plantain (bake banana)
– 20 gram spelt flakes
– 1 dl soya milk ( or another healthy milk you prefer )
– 1 tablespoon organic peanutbutter
– 10 gram organic chocolate

– Preheat the oven to 180 C
– Cut a small slice in the skin of the banana and put the banana in a oven tray.

– Put the banana in the oven for 20 minutes.
– Heat the milk in a pan and add the spelt flakes.
– The flakes are ready when all the milk is absorbed by the spelt flakes.
– Cut the chocolate in small pieces or put it in a blender.
– After 20 minutes you can get the banana out of the oven and remove the skin.
– Put the banana on a plate and cut it into two pieces.
– Top de banana with the spelt flakes, peanutbutter and chocolate.
