Cauliflower rice, the base

If you want to eat more veggies or eat more healthier you should try this unique delicious recipe! It’s true you can make from a cauliflower rice! Of course cauliflower cannot turn into rice when you grate it so don’t except this to taste exactly like rice. But when you like cauliflower you defiantly should try this! This recipe for cauliflower rice is the base and you can use it for many rice dishes. Just replace the rice for cauliflower rice. This alternative is low in carbs an high in fibers and super healthy and easy!

Ingrediënts: ( for 3/ 4 persons)
– 1 big cauliflower
– coconut oil
– ½ onion
– clove garlic, chopped

What to do:
– Chop the fresh cauliflower into small florets or pieces small enough to fit into the mixer.
– Put the pieces in the blender and blend them until they are small and have the texture like rice.
(Process until evenly chopped but not completely pulverized)

– Put the oil in a big pan, I always use a wok for cauliflower rice.
– Cut the onion in small pieces and fry this with the garlic.
– Add the prepared cauliflower rice to the cooked onions and garlic in the pan and cook it for 8 minutes, until it’s slightly crispy.

Now you can use it for every recipe you want, cauliflower rice is delicious as:
– Curried rice
– Rice salad
– Sushi
– Paella
And many more rice dishes!

This is not my own recipe( you can find it everywhere on the internet), but I use cauliflower rice for other self-made recipes so that’s why I share this base recipe with you guys. And it’s too good not to share. 😉

Insane for plantain, Lovely bread!

I’m quite new with plantains but I already love them! My family brought me some plantains because they didn’t know what to do with them! I hate to throw food away so I decided to do some research on the internet to see what is possible to do with this funny banana. I already fried them before but this time I wanted to do something else. I found this delicious plantain bread recipe everywhere on the internet and wanted to give it a try. And I can tell you, It is sooo good! I can’t wait to bake this again!!

Ingredients:
– 1 big ripe plantain
– 2 eggs
– 1 teaspoon oil ( for the oven dish )

That’s how easy it is 😉 Only 2 ingredients to make a delicious bread, and it’s so easy!

You can combine plantain bread with a lot of products. You don’t need white sandwiches anymore, because here is the plantain bread! You can make sandwiches with hummus or guacamole or top it with whatever you like!

What to do:
– Preheat the oven to 200c
– Peel and cut the plantain in small pieces and put it in a blender with the eggs.
– Make a smooth dough
– Put some oil in an oven dish so it does not stick
– Put the dough in the oven dish and put it in the oven for 15 minutes. ( until slightly brown )

– Take the plantain bread out of the oven and cool for 5 minutes before you remove the bread.

– Put it on a plate, and make a delicious sandwich or top it with some toppings you like!

I love to eat it with a nut butter and extra banana! I decided to fried some extra plantain and top this on the plantain bread, but it’s also delicious to top it with normal banana slices or another type of fruit. I finished the bread with some tahin and bee pollen on the top. Yummie yummie 😀
